Pueblo Whitewater Park

A while back ago Darin and I went to Salida to meet up with some folks and run Bailey. Unfortunately the water dropped out of Bailey, but we heard a rumour that the Pueblo whitewater park had epic water that had created some waves. We loaded up the van and headed straight there, but 3 hrs later when we arrived the water had dropped. No waves but a couple okay holes made in a section of the Arkansas that looks like a drainage ditch. The murals painted on the riverbed look pretty cool, and Darin made the local paper.
