The Elevator

I have heard from a couple people that on Burnt Mtn., an out-of-bounds area of Snowmass, there was en elevator that would bring you up and out to civilization. This "elevator" seemed to good to be true because it allows you to ride so much more of Burnt without having to hike. Friday we found out it is not an urban legend,there really IS and elevator on Burnt. It apparently was built by some ultra wealthy homeowners to turn their 2nd homes into "ski in-ski out" places. Thanks to some billionaire, Darin and I enjoyed some extra turns on Burnt and we got to ride an elevator in in the middle of the woods.
